WHAT IS LEAGUE READY?

League Ready is a professional training organization with an emphasis on development of college and professional level basketball players. League Ready also offers strength and conditioning programs to multi-sport athletes.

HOW DID LEAGUE READY BEGIN?

League Ready began in 2015, when a young NBA hopeful by the name of Giddy Potts sought out Coach Ty for training on both the mental and physical aspects of the game of basketball.  Giddy went on to play professional basketball for Basket Ravenna in Italy, after he graduated from Middle Tennessee University.  Since then, Coach Ty has utilized his special skillset along with his considerable network of college and professional contacts to train and support dozens of young players, many of whom have gone on to play at the college level, overseas professional leagues and the NBA.

 

PURPOSE

League Ready's purpose is to prepare young athletes with the skill set, physical toughness and mental clarity they will need to successfully play at the next level.  We have a special heart for opening doors for young players who possess the talent and skill et but may be overlooked due to situation or lack of opportunity.

PHILOSOPHY

The guiding philosophy of League Ready is to focus on the components of mind and body equally.  Coach Ty believes that you first prepare the mind for what you will ask the body to do.  Emphasizing professionalism, respect for the family and the training process along with the need to put time into their craft prepares the mind for the challenges the body will be faced with.  Improvement in drills, practice and on/court/field play naturally follows.
